Licensing, WHS & privacy
RSA and licence registers, liquor incident and refusal logs, WHS with a notifiable-incident assessment, training records, privacy requests and breach handling.
Updated 2 August 2026
What it is
The regulatory side of running a venue, in registers instead of drawers: RSA certificates with expiry flags, liquor licence conditions and incident logs, work health and safety with a built-in notifiable-incident assessment, a training register, privacy requests with deadlines, and a data-breach register.
What problem it solves
Licence conditions and staff certifications tracked on paper fail exactly when they matter — during an inspection or after an incident. Registers that flag expiry before it happens, walk you through whether an incident is notifiable, and put a deadline on every privacy request turn compliance from memory into process.
How it works
-
The RSA register tracks every staff certificate, flags anything expiring within 30 days, and renews in place — before the holder is blocked from alcohol service, not after.
-
The liquor register keeps licence conditions and an inspector-ready incident log — refusals of service, removals, underage attempts, police visits — with a structured refusal record: patron description, intoxication signs, intervention taken, whether a taxi was called. Age verification checks are logged with the document type and its last four characters only — evidence without holding full ID.
-
WHS records incidents, near misses and hazards, then walks you through the notifiable-incident assessment question by question. An incident assessed as notifiable can't be closed until the regulator notification is recorded, and corrective actions are tracked to done.
-
The training register keeps food-handler training and certifications in one inspector-ready view — including your Food Safety Supervisor status — as evidence for Standard 3.2.2A.
-
Privacy requests — access, deletion, correction and more — get a 30-day clock, identity verification for the sensitive kinds, and built-in export and anonymise pipelines to actually fulfil them. The breach register runs the assessment window and won't let a notifiable breach close before the OAIC notification is recorded.
-
Donations logs food-rescue donations with quantities and estimated values, generating receipts and a CSV export for tax time.

This is built into NexDine — there is no separate compliance product to buy. Advisory flags are an aid, not legal advice: licence conditions vary by state and licence, so verify obligations against your own licence and regulator.
