Event sales pipeline
Every function enquiry becomes a card with an owner — kanban stages, venue tours, assignment rules and a conversion funnel.

What it is
The event sales pipeline is a sales board for your function business. Every enquiry from your website becomes a card, every card has an owner, and deals move through stages from first contact to won or lost — with venue tours, follow-ups and conversion reporting along the way.
What problem it solves
Function leads are the biggest-ticket bookings a venue takes, and they leak for the most ordinary reason: nobody owns the follow-up. The pipeline makes ownership automatic and progress visible — a stale card is flagged the moment it sits in a stage too long.
How it works
-
New enquiries from your website land in New leads for triage. Review the details, then qualify the lead onto the board.
-
Assignment rules give every enquiry an owner automatically — route by guest count and priority, so large galas go to your events lead while intimate bookings go elsewhere, with a fallback rule catching the rest.
-
The kanban board tracks active deals through your stages — a typical set runs enquiry, qualified, tour booked, proposal, contracted — and the stages themselves are editable to match how your venue sells. Won, lost and completed events leave the board automatically.
-
Book venue tours against a lead and track them through: upcoming tours today, plus completions, no-shows and the tour win rate over the last 60 days.
-
Lost deals are closed with a reason you define, so the lost report can tell you the most frequent reason and what that business was worth.
-
The conversion report shows stage-by-stage conversion and win/lost outcomes — where deals die, in numbers.
Everything inside the system
- Kanban board with editable stages, drag-and-drop moves and automatic stale-deal flags.
- New-leads triage inbox fed by your website's enquiry form.
- Auto-assignment rules by guest count and priority, with a default fallback.
- Tour scheduling with no-show tracking and a rolling win rate.
- Configurable lost reasons with a lost-revenue report.
- Stage-by-stage conversion funnel and win/lost reporting.
This is built into NexDine — there is no separate sales CRM to buy or log into. The pipeline works the same venue data as your events, quotes and calendar, and everything is managed from inside NexDine.
